One of the few ghost stories I did write.

Sea ghosts

I would like to explain myself before I go further.

Several years ago, I had a rep for writing ghost stories. However, I never called them ghost stories as that usually gives the reader the impression of a scary tale whereas mine is more of the spiritual nature of souls trying to crossover to the other side.

This story is fiction, but the events in the story are true, they can be checked in the Yorkshire ghost catalog. The story is about John “Mad Jack” Andrew one of the most feared pirate on the Yorkshire for over 40 years.

The inn in the story is still there and is haunted by the spirit of John’s daughter who died of meningitis at the age of four.

As an afterthought, the tale came third in a Facebook contest several years ago.
