The only person I denied my disability to is myself https://disqus.com/home/discussion/channel-indieworld/on_being_disabled/#disqus_thread, for no reason other than I never thought of myself as disabled because, until last year, I was able to walk reasonably well.
In the end, I could not deny the truth, even to myself, I never denied being disabled as I was told 18 years ago that I had an incurable illness. Last year, I found out it is Muscular Dystrophy, giving my pains a name has not changed me.
