A month ago, I said this year would be make or break for me after ten years of struggling to be recognized as a writer. It has been a year of constant cutbacks and appraising my expenses. I concluded that unless there is a radical sales increase this quarter, I shall not be paying for the Grammar editor, Grammarly; the software is more than worth the $120 I spend, but that is more than I earn per annum as an author.
Most authors avoid telling the truth – I do not – I have over 35+ e-books for sale on various sales platforms (not counting Amazon), and still, earn less than the price of a cup of coffee a month.
Blogging: I am pleased that my blogs are well read, in some sphere I could say that proves to me that my writing has some value, or is it because it is free to read?
